New Zealand Day two!!

Today was great!!! We finally got a full nights sleep which was fabulous!!! the hostel we stayed at was azmaing! comfy beds, great food, quiet and clean.   and then there was the cat burgular!!  Jillian stopped him cold his tracks!! sneaky little guy was trying to get into our window!! so cute!!

Once on the bus, Kristen again slept the first hour!! and Jill took pictures so she woudln't miss anything!!  good job jill!!!  Were now in rotorua (second lake in maori) and were excited for the maori feast.  Due to flooding yesterday we weren't able to hike this really cool gorge but we got some pictures and saw a waterfall!!  Because its winter here they wont let us do swimming but its not cold at all!! not for us canadian girls anyway!!!  oh well Krissie will get into the ocean sooner or later!! oh she will!!!  

Apparently New Zealand is full of geothermal activity, so we went to see the geysers today.  They had fancy royal names that I can't remember.   But they were neat!!   and we saw kiwi birds!!  I don't know why they call them birds they don't got no wings!!  but they are super cute and furry!!!  and also endangered. 

 We have made lots of new friends from all over the world...Sweden, England and Ireland.  They really enjoy the way that we speak...well especially Krissies northern ontario accent, and Jillie's tattoos!  Apparently we say house funny!!   who knew?

 Well were off teh the maori feast to see the haka.
