New Zealand and Beyond!

Hi everyone...we are back!

Since our last post, we have been busy, busy, busy! The day after our skydiving adventure we bummed around Lake Taupo (which is a town situated on the lake that overlooks a volcano...the name we don't remember!), catching an All Blacks vs. South Africa game at a local pub called The Shed....very intense environment, but fun!! We finally got to see the famous Haka done by the All Blacks, which Kristen and I are determined to learn! When we woke up to catch our bus back to Auckland, we looked out our window to find the town COVERED in frost and -5 out...seriously, we're in New Zealand! We were ready for sunny and warm Australia after that. We slept in the nicest hostel room so far, with just the two of us, our own bathroom and TV! Yippee! We caught the bus back to Auckland...which was about a 5 hour drive...slept most of the way and then checked into our hostel in Auckland for our last night in the land of the long white cloud! Kristen had an urge to gamble (Sue Bear you'd be proud!), so we hit up the Skyway Casino to play some slots and eat a ridiculous amount of deep fried food while watching some more Rugby.  Kristen hadn't seen the movie Eclipse yet, so we hit up the local theater, where we both got our fix....I still say Team Edward....Kristen is Jacob.

Just as we got into extreme sports in New Zealand, we continued that on into other things! We got to the airport in time...however, when the lady at the check in says make sure you're through by 2:45 it doesn't mean just get into line at 2:45.  We found ourselves in a busier then normal line to go through customs and security at 2:45...our plane left at 3:25pm. So needless to say, Kristen was being all calm, cool, and collected while I was having a minor panic attack thinking that we were going to miss our plane! We got through everything and sprinted through the airport to our gate...while noticing along the way that they were doing final call! Our hearts were racing, but we made it there on time...so now we can say that we do extreme flying too! We still look at each other, laugh and say "what the hell were we thinking?!" We have made a pact that for our flight home we will be through security ASAP!!! Were talking 3 hours in advance hahahah! good thing they have lots of fun shops and duty free!! hahaha.

Back in sydney now for the night we have picked up the rental car, which is the size of a small circus car and Krissie is attempting to drive it though the city at night on the wrong side of the road sitting on the wrong side of the car!!!  well its not wrong here but you know what we mean!  
We make it to the hotel in one piece!  Time for a delicious supper consisting of meat!!!  We go to the darling harbour!!! Beautiful at night, stunning in fact.  We get tot eh hurricane grill, yes jill it's the hurricane grill! don't ask me again!   Anyway, we have the most delicious beef ribs and prime rib!! so yummy!!!  

With bellies full we hit the sack ready for our crazy adventure in OZ!
